Shenderovich stressed that bitcoin in itself is a unique phenomenon, but the blockage as a platform is much more interesting. And it is the lack of clear information on the huge commercial real estate market that makes the blockage incredibly important for a company like Knotel.
“There is information about the presence of the building, but the owner says about the parameters of this building, the broker is different, the third one is written in state papers, and nobody knows what is happening inside, ” he explained.
According to him, this mass of information is necessary in order to speed up the market and make it more transparent.
“Information is wanted by all – and owners, and brokers, and people who rent real estate. We decided to make such a distributed system in which all information owners can register and exchange it. Based on this information, you can already enter into smart contracts, – said Eduard Shenderovich.
He also added that the digitization of all commercial real estate will bring liquidity to this market, in terms of the ability to quickly sell a stake.
“What is the difference between an exchange and investments in shares from investment in real estate? You bought the stock and sold it on the same day, you can build derivative tools in just a second, and this does not happen with real estate. In the US, any lease will cost at least $ 20,000, including both parties’ costs for lawyers and verification procedures. But we believe that with the help of the blockbuster in the future we will be able to replace the word “rent” with the word “Knotel”, ” Shenderovich summed up.
